How do I add someone to a circle?
Open the circle and tap the person button at the top. Search your contacts and tap a name. The picker opens again right away, so you can keep adding people. To check off several at once, tap ⋯ and choose Select Several.
Why does my iPhone ask “Call …?” before every call?
Your iPhone shows that confirmation whenever an app other than Phone starts a call, whether you start it from the app, a widget or Siri. It’s an iPhone rule, and no app can turn it off. Tap Call and you’re connected.
How do I put a circle on my Home Screen?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose CallCircles. Pick Circle to show a whole circle, or One Person for a single favorite. Touch and hold the widget and choose Edit Widget to pick which circle or person it shows.
Can I use it from the Lock Screen?
Yes. Touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize, then Lock Screen, and tap the area below the clock to add a CallCircles widget.
How do I call someone with Siri?
Say “Hey Siri, call Mom in CallCircles,” using the name of anyone in your circles. Open CallCircles once after installing or updating so Siri learns the names. You’ll also find a Call Someone action for CallCircles in the Shortcuts app.
Someone has more than one number. Which one does it call?
The first number, until you choose. Touch and hold the person, choose Preferred Number, and pick the one you want. Calls, texts, widgets and Siri all use it.
A contact’s number changed. How do I update it?
CallCircles keeps a copy of each person’s name and numbers from when you added them, so it never needs access to all your contacts. If a number changes, swipe left on the person to remove them, then add them again.
How do I reorder or remove circles and people?
On the main screen, tap Edit to drag circles into order or delete them. Inside a circle, tap ⋯ and choose Edit to reorder people, or swipe left on anyone to remove them.
Where are my circles stored?
Only on your iPhone. CallCircles has no account and no server. If you delete the app, your circles are deleted with it. See the privacy policy for details.
